Comment: Okay, here are my thoughts about Sweet Pea at War.

First off, let me say that I am far from a card carrying member of Oprah’s book club; however I do enjoy a good entertaining and educational story.

In reading Sweet Pea at War, it brought back memories of things about the Navy that I had long forgotten and informed me of many things that I never knew. It’s a very fun to read book that is extremely interesting and informative.

Not only will this book be a pleasure to read by past and present Navy men and women, but also anyone who wants to be entertained, informed and have a few chuckles along the way. It was very well researched and masterfully written. Much to my delight, I found this book to have a refreshing blend of humor, entertainment and information. I highly recommend buying and reading this book, and I’m sure all who read it will be very happy that they did.
